Day 409

Friday, January 17, 2020 -

If I picked a single theme for Ephesians 3, it would be the power of God through His Spirit in us. This power is highlighted in verses 7, 16, and 20. Through God’s power, He bestows us grace (v. 7) according to His eternal purpose which he carried out through Christ Jesus our Lord (v. 11), in Whom we have boldness and confident access through faith in Him.

We are strengthened with power through His Spirit in our inner man (v. 16) who roots us and grounds us in love so that we can comprehend the love of Christ and be filled up to all the fullness of God (v. 17-190. “Now to Him Who is able to do exceeding abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever, Amen” (v.20-21)!
